The Book Project: Conclusions
In this book we have attempted to bring the reader into the rooms of the International Research Forum to get a direct experience of the conversations that took place. We have also then tried to bring some order to the thinking that occurred, and where possible, extend the discussion in useful and interesting ways. Because of the breathtaking scope of the ideas covered, meeting both goals has proved a tremendous challenge. The authors feel that they have captured the discussion competently and extended it in interesting ways. This chapter captures some of the ideas that occured to the authors while writing the book that may be of use to those of us who spend our lives studying and building technology and putting it to work to achieve results.
