The IT & Security discussion confirmed the impossibility of complete security. To allow access to information is a threat to security, but with out access, the information is useless. • This tradeoff is usually made in an environment in which people are willing to give up some privacy to obtain some level of security.
  • What can we say about how these tradeoffs are constructed?
  • How can the consumer be involved earlier in the design phase?
  • Should this discussion be in the chapter instead of this conclusion?
