Mathias Kirchmer

Mathias Kirchmer is Chief Innovation and Marketing Officer of IDS Scheer Global, the leading provider of business process excellence solutions. He is an affiliated faculty member of the Center for Organizational Dynamics of the University of Pennsylvania as well as a faculty member of the Business School of Widener University, Philadelphia.

Dr. Kirchmer joined IDS Scheer in 1990 where he developed a deep understanding of business processes. Since 1993, he had been responsible for SAP implementation consulting. In 1996, he left Germany to serve as Vice President, then as President and last as CEO of IDS Scheer Americas. He also was instrumental in building the Japanese subsidiary. In 2007, Dr. Kirchmer was appointed Chief Innovation and Marketing Officer.

In addition, Dr. Kirchmer often hosts presentations and lectures at leading universities and conferences around the world. In 2004 he won a research fellowship from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Dr. Kirchmer is member of the advisory board of the Business School of Widener University. He is the author of numerous publications.

Dr. Kirchmer graduated from the Karlsruhe Technical University in Germany, with an M.A. in Computer Science and Business Administration. He also holds an M.A. in Economics from the Paris-Dauphine University in France. Dr. Kirchmer obtained a Ph.D. from the Saarbrücken University in Germany.
