Dr. Stefan Wess

After graduating with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Minor in Business Administration, Stefan Wess was involved in a variety of R and D projects for the European Community. During this time, he published numerous books and articles in IT journals on Artificial Intelligence and he organized several international conferences on these topics.

In 1995, after being awarded his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Kaiserslautern, Stefan Wess became Technical Manager of the American CRM software company Inference (later acquired by eGain). He headed international CRM projects in highly reputable organizations like Toshiba, Daimler Benz, IBM or UBS.

In 1997, Stefan Wess took responsibility as Chief Executive Officer of tec:inno in Kaiserslautern managing the rapid and profitable growth of the company. After tec:inno was acquired by empolis in 2000, Stefan Wess became a member of the management board and was appointed as Managing Director in 2006.
