International Research Forum, April 27-28, 2010, Westerburg, Germany


Organized and hosted by SAP Research, the International Research Forum (IRF)

  • takes place each year since 2006 and provides a platform for a close ideas exchange with leading universities as well with CTO's and innovation leaders from various industries - rounded up by renowned thought-leaders and governmental representatives.
  • has meanwhile established its role as an exclusive exchange forum - both with regard to the quality of the participants, the results and the feedback received.
  • serves as a starting point to raise the key questions and discuss challenges and opportunities of the respective topic area. The dialogue is continued via a joint book publication after the event. In a moderated discussion, the participants and selected additional contributors elaborate on the subject and achieve consensus on important questions.
  • is a perfect networking opportunity to kick-off joint projects and initiatives between the participating companies.

The Future Internet: Right Here, Right Now. - This was the exciting theme of the 5th International Research Forum of SAP Research which took place on April 27-28, 2010 in Westerburg, Germany. As in the last four years, we have invited an exclusive round of international academic and industry leaders as well as experts and thought-leaders from various areas. So besides discussing the latest IT trends the forum was again a perfect networking opportunity.
